This is what I made last Friday in Ceramics. We put together the box, then let it dry hard enough that we could start carving it. It's not as hard as you'd think, but what a time consuming process! This was probably my favorite project yet. I'm feeling bad that I only have one more class left. :( I have never had so much fun in any college class... I think I might have to make this a hobby!

Hello, I found your blog listed on the blog of a Steven Wiscombe. I am looking for a Steven Wiscombe who was in Japan as a missionary for the Mormon Church from 1968-1970. I left a comment on his blog, but I don't think he looks at it or posts on it very often. Do you think that the Steven Wiscombe you know is the one I am trying to find?
If so, I am trying to find someone he might know. I was also a missionary at the same time in Japan, but he won't know me by my married name. Could you please contact me at randysorenson@comcast.net
Thanks, Bonnie Anderson (Cook) Sorenson
My friend Ulrike recently completed 30 linoprints in 30 days, posting each print on her blog. That project became an exhibition at Sheffer Gallery a few weeks ago.
